Where has the time gone??  Every day the blog haunts me… “I need to update the blog… I need to update the blog…”  But there never seems to be a good time to do it.  And today is no exception. The girls have been tag-teaming me all day long and I was barely able to go to the bathroom, let alone do anything else.  But, in an effort to share the latest and greatest with you, I will at least post a few pictures and videos.  Better details of our lives will have to wait until another blogging session.

Here’s a recent video of Lydia and I in the car, enjoying the music CD from her school.  Pardon my singing along…

Lydia got a haircut recently.  She was happy to comply once they gave her a balloon to hold.

We went over to play with Liam at Aunt Kelly’s house recently, and Grammy was there too.  They have a very large backyard with lots of old trees and fun things to play with.  It’s the closest thing we’re going to get to playing in the woods or on a farm around here.  They had a lot of fun!  Kelly, Molly and I were inside for the most part, and Grammy was in charge of Liam and Lydia outside.  They had a blast with her, and she was in Grammy Heaven.

Short video…

I asked the kids if I could take their picture together and this was the best I could get…

A few days later Lydia got to see her cousin Warner at her Omi and Opa’s house.

And new cousins Molly and Miles got to size one another up again, too.

At the park… We’ve been to various parks and playgrounds nearly every day for the past few weeks.  Before you know it, the hot summer will be upon us, so we better enjoy the spring weather while we can!

Miss Molly not only flashes smiles now, but smiles for an extended period of time and makes the cutest sounds.  I love to see her expressions of happiness.  So cute.  I think she’s on the verge of giggling… but no real giggles yet.  I’m still struggling to catch a great smile on camera… When I hold the camera up, she watches it intently and we lose our eye contact and the smile.  I’ll keep working on it!

Molly’s latest tricks are:  eating her hands (so cute!), cooing and “talking” for what seems like full, long conversations with us, and hitting the toys on her bouncy seat mobile.  Unfortunately her not-so-cute habit of late is super blow-out diapers.  Yes…up her back, at least once or twice a day.  Can you believe someone that cute can do that?  I am doing a LOT of laundry.  It doesn’t even matter if she has a brand new diaper on…it will still go UP and OUT, and I have the pleasure of dealing with it.

She went to church for the first time this past Sunday.  She slept through it…never even knew she was there.  But she sure looked cute!  I took this picture on my cell phone, and it’s pretty blurry.

The best news of all?  She’s sleeping through the night!!!  Pretty much… For about a week now, she has been falling asleep sometime between 8:30 and 9:30 PM, and not waking again until sometime between 4:00 and 5:15 AM!!  And once I feed her, she goes back to sleep for another hour or longer.  I didn’t even have to do anything to manipulate her sleep schedule… She gradually figured it out all on her own, just like her sister did.  She generally takes a long nap in the morning, and then hardly sleeps the rest of the day.  She takes a few cat naps here and there, and that’s it.  It makes for a busy day with both girls, but it’s worth it when she crashes by 8 or 9 pm and is out for awhile.  Go Molly!  Let’s hope this continues!

Upcoming events:  Mommy returns to work next Tuesday, Aunt Kelly will deliver her baby soon (another new cousin!), and Lydia’s third birthday is coming up on April 11th.  Stay tuned!
