Woo-hoo, it's the weekend again! Last weekend was too busy for blogging. We had our very first Garage Sale! It went well. We rid our closets of lots of things we don't need, sold a lot of it, and donated the rest to a charity. It consumed most of our weekend, so THIS weekend we said to ourselves...let's have a nice, quiet Saturday and just relax. But have we done that so far today? Not at all! The weekends are the only time we have to get things done! Oliver got his car inspected this morning, he went to the gym, I ran errands with Lydia, I dusted, did laundry, Oliver is about to weed the yard.... And so it goes. Typical. But it's VERY nice to be home together and with Lydia. It's really beautiful outside, so we'll take Lydia for a walk later. Right now she's napping, and you know what I saw when I peeked in to check on her?

Every once in awhile she finds her way into this position, and it makes me laugh. She has an entire long mattress for her tall little self, and yet she folds herself the opposite direction. I went back into her room a bit later and moved her legs around so they wouldn't fall asleep! (Mommies worry about stuff like that.)

In other news, yesterday Lydia had her first little haircut! Her bangs had grown pretty long, and were in her eyes all the time (and looked all messy and straggly!) I would try to keep them back with hair accessories, but she would usually find them and pull them out. Yesterday Lydia was at Grammy's house and we were talking on the phone about her crazy bangs. Grammy offered to trim them if I wanted her too...but said she wouldn't touch them unless I said it was okay. Although I once thought the first haircut had to be this big ceremonial thing, at this point, I was so tired of seeing those crazy straggly bangs in her eyes, that I said "Go for it, Mom!" And that she did. 2 snips and we're all set for awhile! Not the best pictures below, but you'll see they are much better, and she looks adorable. We didn't cut the back...those curls are so cute.

Tomorrow is Easter! Lydia has a dress, but no shoes, so I've gotta run and go shopping! See you tomorrow for Easter pics!

P.S. Lydia will only be 1 year old for 1 more week!!!!!!
P.P.S. 2 weeks ago we received a very surprising snow storm. One day it was spring, the next it was winter. Here are a couple of pics we tried to take after church.
